The Green House was designed to be built by owners David Green and Erica Peng next to a creek on the eastern side of the Berkeley hills. The home is oriented to its garden, is bright and sunny, and features many nooks and crannies for comfortable living. David and Erica built with care using sustainable materials, and put lots of energy into delightful and beautiful details. |

Erica and David were helped in construction by their many friends, and by Skillful Means' Dhonyot Lama, who combined his expertise in bale building and plastering with Erica's fine sense of design details, to create a wonderful and inspiring home.
