Under the hot summer sun of the desert the vault nears completion.....

 

 

A breathable, waterproof coating is applied to the vault and the tops of the buttresses.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The framework for the "mushrabiya", grillwork is assembled at the end wall.

 

 

The bedroom/bath wing was insulated with recycled natural fibers (blue jeans) from Bonded Logic.

....and the vault begins to settle into its desert home.
